Christmas Edition 🎄 A small pause
Hello Founders,
If you’re reading this, there’s a good chance you’ve spent the last few months doing the same loop every app founder knows too well:
Build. Fix. Ship.
Answer tickets.
Chase installs.
Worry about churn.
Refresh the dashboard.
Repeat.
It’s rewarding, but it’s also exhausting.
So for the holiday week, we’re doing something simple.
There will be no new issue this Wednesday (Dec 24) and no issue next Wednesday (Dec 31).
Not because we ran out of ideas.
Because everyone deserves a break, and honestly, most founders rarely give themselves permission to take one.
A small reminder worth repeating
Your app is important.
Your ambition is real.
But you don’t get extra points for running yourself into the ground.
Take a few days to:
sleep properly
step away from the noise
spend time with family and friends
do nothing productive without feeling guilty
come back with a clearer head
Before the year ends, ask yourself:
What worked this year that you should repeat?
What kept you busy but didn’t move installs, activation, or retention?
What’s one thing you should stop doing in January?
What’s one bet you’ll place next year that’s worth your focus?
Even 15 minutes with these questions can change how you start the year.
